Should a project be abandoned, all approvals are void, and if
a change in the zoning district has been made, the property shall
revert to its previous zoning, and the Zoning Map shall be revised to show this reversion. No further development
shall take place on the property until a new site plan is approved.
A project shall be deemed to be abandoned when:
A. The intent of the owner to abandon the project is apparent, once
there has been no construction on the project in one year, and no
extension of the approval has been applied for; or
B. Once started, the equipment and construction has been removed or
halted on the property and has not been replaced by similar equipment
or restarted within one year, unless other facts show intention to
resume construction.
