A. 
As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
PERSON
Any natural person, partnership, association, firm or corporation.
B. 
In this article, the singular shall include the plural, the plural shall include the singular, and the masculine shall include the feminine and the neuter.

No person shall place, set up, exhibit or display upon any sidewalk in the Borough of Zelienople any goods, wares or merchandise, nor shall any person set up and/or operate upon any such sidewalk any implements or fixtures used in connection with the display and/or sale of goods, wares or merchandise, except upon special permission by Borough Council.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
