It shall be unlawful for any person to keep any of the following animals in the Town:
A. 
Horse, mule, donkey or pony.
B. 
Cattle, goat, hog or other livestock of any nature.
C. 
Any chicken, turkey, duck, goose, guinea or poultry of any description, whether or not such fowl is penned or confined.

Dead animals shall be disposed of in accordance with the instructions of the Health Officer.

A. 
It shall be unlawful for the owner of any animal to go upon or remain upon the lands, buildings or premises of another, or any part, portion or area thereof, after having been forbidden to do so, either orally or in writing, by the owner, lessee, custodian or other person lawfully in charge thereof.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for the owner of any animal to allow said animal, either restrained or running free, to enter any part of the Elk Run Cemetery property. This prohibition shall not apply to service animals, including but not limited to Seeing eye dogs and horses utilized in a burial ceremony. In addition, if approved by the Town Council in advance, animals may be used in a cermonial function on the Cemetery property.
It shall be an offense for any person to fail to abide by this article, and any person found guilty thereof shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $250. Each day any violation of this article shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.
