Notwithstanding the provisions of any general law to the contrary and in accordance with the provisions of § 3-300 of the Village Law of the State of New York, the Building Inspector and any Deputy Building Inspectors of the Village of Nyack need not be residents of the Village of Nyack but may reside within the County of Rockland.
