It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to permit the emission of any dense smoke from any source whatever.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to permit the escape of such quantities of soot, cinders, noxious acids, fumes and gases in such place or manner as to be detrimental to any person or to the public or to endanger the health, comfort or safety of any such person or of the public or in such a manner as to cause or have a tendency to cause injury or damage to property or business.

A. 
No person shall smoke any tobacco or other substance at the following locations within the Village of Great Neck:
(1) 
The public sidewalks along or within 125 feet of Middle Neck Road in front of the following:
(a) 
A commercial establishment.
(b) 
The Village Green Park (located at the northwest corner of Middle Neck Road and Beach Road).
(c) 
The Village of Great Neck Housing Authority (located at 700 Middle Neck Road, the southeast corner of Middle Neck Road and Arrandale Avenue).
(2) 
On or within 10 feet of any public bench within a municipal parking lot that has ingress and/or egress to Middle Neck Road.
B. 
For the purposes of this section, any of the locations set forth in Subsection A that are located on more than one street shall be deemed to front on all of such streets.
