For the purpose of this chapter, the Township is hereby divided into districts which shall be designated as follows:
FA General Floodplain District
FW Floodway District
FF Flood Fringe District
A Agricultural District
R-1 Residential District (Single-Family – Country)
R-2 Residential District (Multifamily – Suburban)
C-1 Commercial District (Neighborhood)
C-2 Commercial District (Shopping Center)
PR Planning Research District
I-1 Industrial District (Light)
I-2 Industrial District (Heavy)
MH-R Mobile Home – Residential District
A-O Agricultural Overlay District

The A, R-1, R-2, C-1, C-2, I-1, and I-2 Districts shall be as shown upon the Map attached to and made a part of this chapter, which shall be designated "Zoning Map." The Zoning Map and all notations, references, and other data shown thereon are hereby incorporated by reference into this chapter as if all were fully described herein.

The FA, FW, and FF Districts shall serve as an overlay to the underlying districts as shown on the Zoning Map, and as specifically described on the current Flood Boundary and Floodway Map Panels and Floodway Data Table contained in the Flood Insurance Study prepared for the Township by the Federal Insurance Administration. This study and accompanying maps and all notations, reference, and other data contained therein are hereby incorporated by reference into this chapter as if all were fully described herein.

The boundaries between all districts, except the FA, FW, and FF Districts, are, unless otherwise indicated, either the center lines of streets, alleys, rights-of-way, lot lines, or such lines extended or lines parallel thereto.
2. 
Where figures are shown on the Zoning Map between a street, alley, right-of-way, or lot line, and a district boundary line, they indicate that the district boundary line runs parallel to that line at a distance therefrom equivalent to the number of feet so indicated.
3. 
Where district boundaries are not clearly affixed by the above methods and there is question as to their location, they shall be determined by the use of the scale of the Zoning Map.

When a district boundary line, except that of an FA, FW, or FF District, divides a lot, parcel, or tract of ground, the regulations of either abutting district may be construed by the owner to be applicable to the portion of such lot in the other abutting district for a distance of not more than 50 feet beyond the district boundary line.
