If any provision of this Chapter or of any of the regulations
thereunder shall be held to be illegal or unconstitutional by final
decision of a court of competent jurisdiction, it is the intention
of the Board of Commissioners that such provision shall be severable,
and the other provisions of this Chapter or the regulations thereunder
shall remain in full force and effect and would have been adopted
if such illegal or unconstitutional provision had not been included.

A lawful nonconforming use of land under any previous chapter of
the Township of Harrison shall become a nonconforming use under and
subject to the provisions of this Chapter.

Any use of land, or structures thereon, illegally existing at the
time of the enactment of this Chapter shall not be deemed to be an
acquiescence in such continued illegal use by the Township of Harrison
by the enactment of this Chapter and shall not thereby become a nonconforming
use under the provisions of this Chapter.

Any person, partnership or corporation who shall not lawfully
use any lands, or structures thereon, in violation of the provisions
of the previous zoning ordinances of the Township of Harrison, may
be prosecuted in accordance with the terms of said previous zoning
ordinances, which provisions are hereby saved to that extent, or may
be prosecuted under § 503, Enforcement, of this Chapter.

This Chapter repeals any prior zoning ordinances and zoning maps, including but not limited to Ordinance No. 1392, as amended, and those ordinances contained in Chapter 27 of the Harrison Township Code of Ordinances.
