The provisions of Article
II shall apply exclusively to Bayfront Park, which shall be defined as that area shown on Tax Map 105, Parcel 14, and generally known as "Bayfront Park" and designated as such by signs. Bayfront Park shall include those portions of the water of the Chesapeake Bay for which the Town, or the patrons of the park through swimming and other water activities, are exercising a riparian right. Bayfront Park is hereby designated as a public park.
Bayfront Park shall be open to the public between the hours
of 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., eastern standard time. It shall be unlawful
for an unauthorized person to be in Bayfront Park during any time
other than the hours in which the park is open to the public. Any
person or entity violating the provisions of this section shall be
guilty of a municipal infraction and, upon conviction thereof, is
subject to a fine of $50.
It shall be unlawful to fish or crab, regardless of the means,
from the beach area or inland wetland areas of Bayfront Park. Any
person or entity violating the provisions of this section shall be
guilty of a municipal infraction and, upon conviction thereof, is
subject to a fine of $100.
