The provisions of Article
IV shall apply exclusively to Veterans Park, which shall be defined as that area having various memorials and parking for visitors and generally described as bounded as such: on the east by the mean high water of the Chesapeake Bay; on the south by Windward Key Subdivision; on the west by Maryland Route 261 (also known as "Bayside Road"); and on the north by a residence on Lot 2, Block 2, Baycrest Subdivision, C Street and a residence on Lot 3, Block 15, Baycrest Subdivision. Veterans Park shall include those portions of the water of the Chesapeake Bay for which the Town, or the patrons of the park through water-dependent activities, is exercising as a riparian right. Veterans Park is hereby designated as a public park.
It shall be unlawful to fish or crab, regardless of the means,
from the shoreline of Veterans Park. Any person or entity violating
the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a municipal infraction
and, upon conviction thereof, is subject to a fine of $100.
It shall be unlawful to swim or dive from any portion of Veterans
Park. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be
guilty of a municipal infraction and, upon conviction thereof, is
subject to a fine of $100.
It shall be unlawful to use a skateboard, roller blades, roller
skates, scooter or bicycle in Veterans Park. Any person violating
the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a municipal infraction
and, upon conviction thereof, is subject to a fine of $100.
