The floors of all markets where fish, oysters, clams and other
shellfish shall be stored or sold shall be constructed of some watertight
material; said material shall extend at least one foot up the walls
of said market or slaughtering-house and the construction shall be
such as to allow perfect flushing, cleansing and drainage into the
sewer. The watertight material used and plan of construction shall
be subject to the approval of the Bureau of Health.
No person shall receive, hold, keep, sell or offer for sale
in Atlantic City any fish, oysters, clams or crabs from any store,
stand, stall, wheelbarrow, push cart or other hand-propelled vehicle,
unless such store, stand, stall or vehicle has been approved by the
Director of the Department of Public Safety and a permit issued therefor.
