The Board of Commissioners adopts the 2013 Employee Handbook, which will act as the only personnel policy and procedure, including rules concerning the hiring and termination of employees, terms and conditions of employment, vacations and sick time policy, retirement compensation policy and regulations required to comply with applicable federal and state employment-related law. The Board of Commissioners shall from time to time, by amendment to this article, adopt future employment handbooks as required. The handbook adopted pursuant to this article shall be applicable to all officials, appointees, employees, prospective employees, volunteers and independent contractors of the Town of West New York.
The Municipal Administrator shall be responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the personnel practices adopted by ordinance authorized pursuant to this article.
