No boats, canoes or other waterborne craft propelled by motors of any kind, inboard, outboard, mechanical or electrical, shall be operated at any time in and on the waters of Rancocas Creek and Smithville Lake in the Township of Eastampton, except that boats with electrical motors of one horsepower or less may be operated on Smithville Lake.
As an exception, both Eastampton Township Fire Companies and the Emergency Squad, together with invited fire companies or squads, shall be permitted to hold drills in lifesaving techniques, body-finding procedures and similar drills, in their own motor-propelled craft, after giving due verbal notice thereof to the local Police Department.

Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, Article II, Penalties for Violations. The continuation of such violation for each successive day shall constitute a separate offense, and the person or persons allowing or permitting the continuation of the violation may be punished as provided above for each separate offense.
