Informed citizenry is vital to the functioning of a healthy democracy. To inform and educate residents of the Village as to the official affairs of government, the Board of Trustees intends to provide a public, nonpartisan, nonpolitical newsletter to provide notices of public meetings, information on the structure and function of the Village government, names and official phone numbers of Village officials, schedules for Village activities, summaries of official and financial reports and such other information as may be proper.
The Board of Trustees is hereby authorized to publish reports, bulletins or other information related to the official acts and meetings of the officers, employees, boards, commissions, departments or other agencies of the Village and may distribute such reports, bulletins or other information to the residents and taxpayers of the Village.
