All bills must be paid within 30 days of the date of the bill.
Any bill remaining unpaid after 30 days will be assessed at
1.16% a month up to one year.
If bills remain unpaid after two billing periods or one year,
the bill will be added to yearly property tax with interest for one
year.

When ownership changes, the name and address of the new owner
must be registered with the Department of Public Works office. Failure
of the owner or consumer to receive a bill does not relieve the owner
or consumer from an obligation of payment nor consequences of its
nonpayment.

Abatements or rebates for water service will not be made unless
a written notice is filed in the office of the Department of Public
Works within 30 days of the date of the invoice. Persons aggrieved
by the Director's action on water-related items can appeal to the
Public Service Committee appointed by the President of the City Council.
The Commitee's decision shall be final.

The sewer entrance fee, remediation fee, and inspection fee
must be paid in advance.
