[Adopted 5-1-1986 by Ord. No. 963 (Ch. 11 of the 1970 Borough Code)]
There is hereby established the position of Tax Assessor of the Borough of Seaside Park. Additionally, the governing body is empowered to appoint a Deputy Tax Assessor or Assessors as the need occurs.
The Municipal Tax Assessor and any Deputy Assessor shall be appointed for a term of four years by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the governing body, and said terms shall commence on July 1 following said appointment. Vacancies shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term.
The salary of the Municipal Tax Assessor and any Deputy Assessor shall be as determined in the duly adopted Salary Ordinance of the Borough of Seaside Park.[1]
