No person shall conduct in the Village of Rothschild, Wisconsin, any dance to which the public is invited or admitted or conduct or establish or manage any public dance hall or pavilion without first applying for and receiving a permit from the President or from the Village Board in the absence of the President. The officer issuing such permit shall in due time notify the police officer when such dance is to be conducted. Any person or party wishing to conduct such a dance or similar entertainment or amusement, in order to obtain a permit, shall make application in writing upon blanks furnished by the Clerk giving the name of the party or corporation or association intending to conduct the same and designating the date and place when and where such dance is to be conducted. Such permit must be applied for not less than 36 hours before the time of holding such dance. The fee shall be set by the Village Board, which shall be paid before such permit is issued.
