No person who resides within the confines of West Norriton Township shall operate a pedalcycle upon any highway; trafficway, public place or path set aside for the exclusive use of pedalcycles within West Norriton Township unless said pedalcycle has been registered and licensed by the Township.

Every pedalcycle intended to be operated in West Norriton Township shall be registered on a form provided by the Township.

A charge in an amount as established from time to time by resolution shall be made for the registration and handling of each pedalcycle.

When registered and licensed an identification tag, supplied by the Township, shall be affixed to the frame of the pedalcycle in such manner as to be plainly visible.

Pedalcycle shall be registered when acquired and annually thereafter.

Within 15 days after sale, transfer or dismantling of any registered pedalcycle, such information shall be forwarded to the Police Department by the person in whose name the pedalcycle was registered. Said person may have a new identification tag issued for another pedalcycle owned by him without an additional fee being imposed, for the current registration period.

Every person engaged in the business of buying or selling new or second hand pedalcycles within this Township shall make a report monthly, to the Police Department, of every pedalcycle purchased or sold by such dealer, giving:

It shall be unlawful for any person to wilfully or maliciously remove, destroy, mutilate or alter the registration tag and/or serial number of a pedalcycle.
