A Police Department is hereby established in and for the Township
and the appointment of policemen by the Board of Supervisors, subject
to any applicable civil service provisions in the law, is hereby authorized.

The Police Department shall be composed of a Chief of Police
and such subordinate officers and patrolmen as have been or may be
appointed by the Board of Supervisors from time to time. The appointment
of subordinate officers shall be subject to applicable civil service
provisions in the law.
