As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
A device, approved by the Borough, installed in a customer's water system to prevent any possible flow back into the Borough's water system.
Any physical connection or arrangement between two otherwise separate piping systems, one of which contains Borough water and the other water of unknown or questionable safety, whereby there may be a flow from one system to the other, the directions depending on the pressure differential between the two systems.
A pit or hole sunk into the earth to reach a supply of water.
