A.
A permit shall be obtained from the head of the Bureau of Fire Prevention prior to the start of demolition operations on any building or structure.
B.
A permit shall be obtained for the shutting off, disconnection or removal of any fire alarm system, sprinkler, standpipe or other fire protection system. Such shutting off, disconnection or removal shall not be done until the day demolition operations commence. If, due to extenuating circumstances, such shutting off, disconnection or removal must be done in advance of the day demolition operations commence, adequate twenty-four-hour watchman service shall be provided as prescribed by the Chief of the Fire Prevention Bureau.
C.
A permit shall be obtained for the storage of compressed gas and the use of acetylene torch in cutting operations. When cutting operations are done within 25 feet of combustible material, or when cutting is done above combustible material, noncombustible shields shall be interposed to protect the combustible material.
D.
A permit shall be obtained for the removal of an underground tank that has been used for keeping or storage of flammable liquids.
