A.
Certificate of license. It shall not be lawful for any person or persons, firm or corporation, to carry on or work at the business of plumbing or house drainage in said Borough until a license to engage in or to work at said business shall have been granted said person or persons by the Plumbing Inspector and Trainer Borough Council. Any person or persons performing work within the Borough of Trainer must be a master plumber in the Borough of Trainer and must have obtained the Delaware County Municipality Plumbing Council Master Plumber Certification Card and shall register such plumber's certification in a book kept for the purpose, which register shall be open to public inspection, one copy to be sent to the Secretary of Trainer Borough Council, and if after examination is made by the Plumbing Inspector of the person's or persons' credentials and certificates and having been found competent, the person(s) shall be issued either a master plumber or journeyman plumber license which will entitle him or them to engage in or work at the business of plumbing and house drainage. The Plumbing Inspector of the Borough of Trainer reserves the right to cancel or recall any plumber license issued by the Borough of Trainer at any time.
B.
Applications. Each person or firm desiring to be engaged in or engaging in the business or work of plumbing and house drainage in the said Borough shall apply in writing to the said Plumbing Inspector. A master plumber's license shall be set at $100; a journeyman's license shall be $50.

A business or firm cannot be licensed. Each master plumber and journeyman shall be licensed.

All licenses shall be issued yearly running from January 1 to December 31 of each year.
(3)
For any license issued after June 30, the fee will be $100 for a master plumber's license and $50 for a journeyman's license.
C.
Registration for mechanical, heating and air-conditioning and boiler and sprinkler systems installer and repairman license. A license is required to be issued by the Borough before any person may engage in such work. The license requirements are as follows:

All persons desiring to be licensed under this section must supply proof to the Borough Secretary and/or Borough Plumbing Inspector, at the time of application and at all times upon request during the effective dates of the subject license, that the person is covered under a policy of liability insurance providing a liability limit of a minimum of $200,000 and, further, that all employees of the business entity performing work at such site are covered under a policy of workers' compensation insurance.
