The County's schedule of fees for the installation and maintenance
of signage on County roads and rights-of-way shall be as follows:
A.
Signs under
100 square feet: $1,500 for the right to install and maintain for
the first year, then $350 annually for years two through five, which
shall increase by 5% annually.
B.
Signs 100
square feet and over: $2,500 for the right to install and maintain
for the first year, then $600 annually for years two through five,
which shall increase by 5% annually.
The County Engineer, at his discretion, may require an applicant
to post a surety bond or cash bond to secure proper restoration of
County roads disturbed by such applicant.
The County Engineer shall require an applicant to agree to protect,
indemnify and hold harmless the County of Essex, its officials, directors,
employees and agents from and against any and all claims, demands,
causes of action, damages and judgments which may be imposed upon,
incurred or brought against the County of Essex as a result of any
negligent or wrongful acts of omission or commission by the applicant
or its officers, directors, employees or agents committed in connection
with the installation and/or maintenance of signage on County roads.
