The document entitled "Official Map of the Borough of Doylestown" covering all of the Borough of Doylestown, prepared by Gilmore & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers and Land Surveyors, 300 East Butler Avenue, New Britain, PA 18901-5106, dated February 24, 2003, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby adopted as the Official Map of the Borough of Doylestown.[1]

A copy of this Part 8 and Official Map, verified by the Borough Council, shall be submitted to and recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Bucks County within 60 days of the effective date hereof. The fee for recording and indexing of this Part 8 and Official Map, as prescribed by law, shall be paid by the Borough of Doylestown.

In order that the Official Map shall at all times be current with the needs of the Borough of Doylestown and shall represent the best thinking of the Borough Council, Planning Commission, and other boards and commissions of the Borough of Doylestown in light of changing conditions, the Doylestown Borough Planning Commission shall annually review the Official Map and recommend to Borough Council such changes or additions to the Official Map which it considers necessary or appropriate.

The legal effect of the adoption of this Part 8, and Official Map shall be as provided in Article IV of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (53 P.S. § 10401 et seq.)

All ordinances, plans or maps or parts of ordinances, plans or maps which are inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed. If any sentence, clause, section or part of this Part 8 is for any reason found to be unconstitutional, illegal or invalid, such unconstitutionality, illegality or invalidity shall not affect or impair any of the remaining provisions, sentences, clauses, sections or parts of this Part 8. It is hereby declared as the intent of the Borough that this Part 8 would have been adopted had such unconstitutional, illegal or invalid sentence, clause, section or part thereof not be included herein.
