The use of town facilities by organizations shall be limited to civicoriented or nonprofit organizations which are located or operating within the town and by governmental agencies, upon application. Said use shall be upon Town Board approval, if not within business hours.
A. 
Applications should be submitted in writing to the Town Clerk in advance of the monthly Town Board meeting before which date the use of the facility is requested, and approval shall be by a majority vote of the Town Board.
B. 
The names and addresses of those officers or persons in charge of said organizations who shall be individually responsible for the care, use and possible damage to said facilities, buildings, equipment and/or furniture shall be submitted.
C. 
Applications from organizations consisting of children or youth groups must be filed by a responsible adult who will be present at all times during the use of the facility.
D. 
If an organization cancels after its application is approved, the Town Clerk is to be notified of such cancellation at least two days prior to the date for which use of the facility has been requested.
A. 
The fee for use of town facilities shall be the actual cost to the town of providing such facilities to the organization. Any cost incurred by the town as a result of the use of town facilities shall be charged to the organization using the same.
B. 
The Town Clerk shall indicate on the request for use application the estimated charge for use of the facility, based on anticipated actual costs. This estimated charge shall be acknowledged by the organization by an appropriate signature on the application.
C. 
Applications which will require the town to pay an employee for services which would not otherwise be performed may be approved upon the agreement of the applicant that it will pay a fee equal to the employee's hourly rate of compensation, plus the hourly cost of fringe benefits paid for the benefit of the employee, for the number of hours required of such employee by the organization.
D. 
Applications for the use of the facilities for dates and times which do not require the town to pay employees beyond normally scheduled employment hours and which do not require other expenses on the part of the town may be approved without fee.
E. 
Fees normally attendant to an approved application may be reduced or waived by the Town Board.
Said applications shall be granted only if the holding of said meeting and/or function shall not interfere with the primary function for which said facilities are constructed.
The Town Board may by resolution make additional rules and regulations governing the use of said town facilities, including prescribing insurance coverage, security deposits and commitments of responsibility for cleaning said facilities after use.
