§ 23-1 Wards.

The Village Board of the Village of Maple Bluff divides the Village into two wards pursuant to § 5.15, Wis. Stats., which wards are bounded and described as follows:
A. 
Ward 1.
(1) 
Ward 1 shall comprise the following lands located within the corporate boundaries of the Village of Maple Bluff:
(a) 
Lands situated south and southeast of the following-described reference line, to wit: Commencing at the intersection of the center line of Oxford Place with the center line of N. Sherman Avenue; thence west along the center line of Oxford Place to its intersection with the center line of Kensington Drive; thence northwest along the center line of Kensington Drive to its intersection with the center line of Woodland Circle; thence northeasterly, northwesterly and westerly along the center line of Woodland Circle to its intersection with the center line of Kensington Drive; thence continuing west along the center line of Fisk Place to its intersection with the center line of Lakewood Blvd.; thence southeasterly along the center line of Lakewood Blvd. to its intersection with the center line of Cambridge Road; thence southwesterly and southeasterly along the center line of Cambridge Road to its intersection with the center line of Cambridge Court; thence southwest along the center line of Cambridge Court to the southeast corner of Lot 34, Lakewood Replat in the Village of Maple Bluff, Dane County, Wisconsin; thence southwesterly along the south line of said Lot 34 on a line that ends with its intersection with the boundary of the Village and the end of this reference line; and
(b) 
Also, the following described parcel of land, located in the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 31, T8N, R10E, Village of Maple Bluff, Dane County, Wisconsin, to wit: Beginning at the southwest corner of said Section 31 which is also the intersection of the center lines of North Sherman Avenue and Commercial Avenue; thence N 00° 22' 28'' E, along the center line of said North Sherman Avenue, 1,217.18 feet to the northwesterly right-of-way of the Chicago and Northwestern Transportation Company lands, the city limits of the City of Madison and the village limits of the Village of Maple Bluff; thence S 24° 27' 20" E, along said northwesterly right-of-way, the said city limits and Village limits, 618.37 feet to a point of curve; thence southeasterly continuing along said northwesterly right-of-way and said city and Village limits on a curve to the right which has a radius of 3,057.40 feet and a chord which bears S 18° 01' 55" E, 684.10 feet to the center line of Commercial Avenue; thence S 89° 32' 49" W, along said center line and the City of Madison and Village of Maple Bluff limits, 475.73 feet to the point of beginning; containing 321,916 square feet (7.390 acres) (0.012 square miles).
(2) 
The above includes Census Tract No. 102 and the following Census Blocks: 1014, 1015, 1016, 1017, 1018, 1019, 1020, 1021, 1022, 1023, 1024, 1025, 1032 and 1033.

Ward 1 has a population of 579.
B. 
Ward 2.
(1) 
Ward 2 shall comprise the following lands located within the corporate boundaries of the Village of Maple Bluff and situated north and northwest of the following-described reference line, to wit: Commencing at the intersection of the center line of Oxford Place with the center line of N. Sherman Avenue; thence west along the center line of Oxford Place to its intersection with the center line of Kensington Drive; thence northwest along the center line of Kensington Drive to its intersection with the center line of Woodland Circle; thence northeasterly, northwesterly and westerly along the center line of Woodland Circle to its intersection with the center line of Kensington Drive; thence continuing west along the center line of Fisk Place to its intersection with the center line of Lakewood Blvd.; thence southeasterly along the center line of Lakewood Blvd. to its intersection with the center line of Cambridge Road; thence southwesterly and southeasterly along the center line of Cambridge Road to its intersection with the center line of Cambridge Court; thence southwest along the center line of Cambridge Court to the southeast corner of Lot 34, Lakewood Replat, in the Village of Maple Bluff, Dane County, Wisconsin; thence southwesterly along the south line of said Lot 34 on a line that ends with its intersection with the boundary of the Village and the end of this reference line.
(2) 
The above includes Census Tract No. 102 and the following Census Blocks: 1000, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1005, 1006, 1007, 1008, 1009, 1010, 1011, 1012, 1013, and 1030.
(3) 
Ward 2 has a population of 779.

§ 23-2 Polling place.

The polling place for voting in all elections held on or after the effective date of this article, and until changed by further action of the Village Board, shall be 18 Oxford Place, Madison, WI 53704.
