Except as prohibited by law, any member of a board, commission
or committee appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Council pursuant
to an ordinance of the Borough of Old Tappan or other law, who has
unexcused absences from 40% of the scheduled meetings in any calendar
year of the board, commission or committee to which said member is
appointed, shall be removed from said board, commission or committee
by resolution of the Mayor and Council.
