Each violation of any provision of this Article
II shall be subject to the penalties and remedies described in §
1-3 of this Code, except that the forfeiture amount described in §
1-3A shall be not less than $10 and not more than $200 for each violation.
The following words, terms, and phrases, when used in this article,
shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where
the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
FIREARM
A weapon which expels a missile by the explosive force of
gunpowder, compressed air, or compressed gas.
For the purpose of protecting public health and safety, no person
other than a law enforcement officer in the performance of official
duties shall throw or shoot any object, arrow, stone, or other missile
or projectile, by hand or any other means, at any person or at, in,
or into any building, street, sidewalk, highway, park, playground
or other public place within the Village.
