Effective as of the date of enactment of this article, each
Borough Councilperson shall receive, as wages, the sum of $1,875 per
year, and the Borough Mayor shall receive, as wages, the sum of $2,500
per year.
Notwithstanding any other provisions herein contained, no Council
member nor Mayor shall receive a sum in excess of that amount permitted
by the statutory provisions of the Borough Code and in such cases
made and provided.
