There shall be a Board called the Plumbers' Examining Board,
which shall consist of five members appointed by the Town Board, who
shall hold office at the pleasure of the Town Board. Each member shall
receive such compensation as the Town Board may determine.
Members of the Board shall be master plumbers who shall each
have had not less than 10 years' practical experience in the plumbing
trade.
The Board shall meet twice a month at the call of its Chairman.
The Board shall also hold such emergency sessions as its Chairman
may call, with the approval of the Commissioner of the Department
of Planning and Development. Notice of meetings of the Board shall
be given by mailing a notice of the time and place of meeting, addressed
to each member at his or her last known post office address, at least
five days before the time of such meeting, or by personal delivery
of such notice to each Board member at least two days before the time
of such meeting.
The Board shall make rules and regulations for the conduct of
its business as an examining board.
