When used in this article, the following words and phrases shall, for the purpose of this article, have the meanings given them by this section:
As used herein, the word "business" shall mean all structures used primarily for office purposes, and the word "mercantile" shall mean all structures used primarily for the sale of merchandise of any nature, whether of any nature, whether at wholesale or retail.
Is defined as a hard-wired device capable of sensing visible and invisible particles or products of combustion and which, when activated thereby, provides an alarm audible within the building as well as an alarm connected to a central monitoring station, which device shall be approved by the Underwriters Laboratory, Inc., or other comparable testing agency.
