A streetlighting district, as shown on Exhibit "A" annexed hereto[1] and incorporated herein, to be known as the "Stonehedge Street Lighting District No. 1," is hereby established by the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Bern, pursuant to the authority granted by Sections 2001, 2002 and 2003 of the Second Class Township Code. By separate resolution, provision will be made for the installation, electrification and maintenance of certain streetlight fixtures in said Stonehedge Lighting District No. 1.

A. 
Rates will be assessed through an equal assessment on each property benefited within the Stonehedge Street Lighting District No. 1. The Board of Supervisors shall establish the initial assessment by this article and thereafter may change said assessment at any time by resolution, if, in its sole discretion, the Board of Supervisors finds it necessary to do so.
B. 
The initial assessment, which is subject to change as provided in § 151-2A above, shall be $0.47 per front foot per annum to be assigned against each lot or property located in the Stonehedge Street Lighting District No. 1.
