A.
For all mobile homes or trailers as heretofore defined herein, such structures located in the Town limits shall be skirted on the exterior of such homes by material to enclose the chassis and/or wheels of such structure. Such skirting shall blend with the mobile home and be of sufficient strength and composition to prevent the accumulation of trash, refuse or animals that create a threat to the health, safety or welfare of the citizens of the Town of Tatum.
B.
Owners of existing mobile homes/trailers in the Town limits shall have 60 days from the date of the adoption of this article to comply with the requirements herein. Owners placing mobile homes/trailers on sites within the Town limits after the effective date of this article shall comply with the requirements herein within 60 days of such installation of said mobile home.
C.
The Mayor, upon application of the owner of a mobile home/trailer and for good cause, may grant an extension of time for compliance with the provisions of this article for a period of time not to exceed 30 days from time requirements herein.
D.
Any person or entity found guilty of violating this section shall be punished by a fine not to exceed the sum of $300. Each day's violation shall be a separate offense. Upon a second or subsequent conviction of a violation of this section, the person found guilty of such subsequent violation may, in addition to the fine provided herein, be imprisoned for a term not to exceed 90 days.
