(a) The trust fund bequeathed to the city by the will of Henry I. Fiske
late of Waltham, shall be called, as designated in such will, the
"Fiske Fund of the City of Waltham," but in order to preserve the
identity of the donor, shall also be know as the "Henry I. Fiske Fund."
It shall be kept by the city treasurer invested in bonds or notes
of the city or in securities, except personal securities, in which
funds of saving banks may be law be invested.
(b) The treasurer shall keep a separate account of the Fiske Fund and
the income therefrom. He shall pass to the credit of such account
the interest of such bonds and notes as the same becomes due, without
the necessity of any draft or order from any officer of the city,
and shall disburse the same upon order of the city auditor, as provided
for general accounts.
(c) The board of trustees of the Fiske Fund shall, subject to the orders
of the council, have the exclusive disposition of the income of such
fund and shall use the same for the worthy poor of the city not inmates
of the almshouse nor receiving aid from the city, but standing in
need of temporary relief. In administering said income, the trustees
shall give prompt recognition to the necessities of the individual
or family caused by accidents not to have been anticipated.

The trust fund bequeathed to the city by the will of M. Etta Fiske, late of Waltham, shall be called as designated in such will the "Calvin Fiske Memorial Fund." The provisions of section
9-41 of this Code, relative to the custody and investment of the Fiske Fund of the city also known as the "Henry I. Fiske Fund," the manner of accounting for its principal and income and of disbursing its income, shall apply to such Calvin Fiske Memorial Fund. The board of trustees shall, subject to the orders of the council, have the exclusive disposition of the income of said fund, and shall expend the same for the support of the worthy poor of the city.

(a) There is hereby established the board of trustees of the Fiske Fund,
also called the Henry I. Fiske Fund. Such board shall consist of three
(3) person, one (1) of whom shall be a city official stationed at
the city hall, but not connected with the welfare department; all
trustees shall be appointed by the mayor subject to confirmation by
the council. The same persons shall also be trustees of the Calvin
Fiske Memorial Fund, the purposes of such funds being similar, but
the respective donors thereof, although having the same surname, not
being related to each other. One (1) member of such board shall be
appointed annually to hold office for three (3) years beginning on
the first Monday in May of the year of his appointment.
(b) The members of the board of trustees of the Fiske Fund shall meet
and organize by the choice of a chairman on the second Monday of May
of each year or as soon as convenient thereafter. Such board shall
keep a record of its proceedings.
