This article shall provide for a four-year term for the offices
of Town Highway Superintendent and Town Clerk/Tax Collector pursuant
to Municipal Home Rule Law § 10. Such four-year terms shall
commence on January 1, 2002.
This article shall supersede all provisions of Town Law § 24
which are inconsistent herewith.
This article shall be submitted for approval to the electors
of the Town of Lenox at the next general Town election to be held
on November 6, 2001, pursuant to Municipal Home Rule Law § 23.[1]
