A person who has been identified as a vendor by an applicant
or sponsor on the application for a permit to hold a community event
and who will participate as such must apply for and obtain from the
City a special vendor's permit to display, exhibit, distribute
and/or sell to the public any goods, wares, merchandise, products,
foods, beverages, crafts, materials, clothing or other such items.
Upon approval of said application, the Chamberlain shall issue a special
vendor's permit to the vendor who shall post same in a conspicuous
location at the booth or other station where the vendor has set up
his items for display, exhibition, distribution or sale. If the location
and nature of the community event does not provide a reasonable location
where the special vendor's permit can be conspicuously displayed,
the vendor shall produce said permit if requested by a law enforcement
officer or other official of the City.
