(a)
Every dwelling, dwelling unit and rooming house shall be supplied with a potable water supply. There shall be adequate water supply and pressure at all installed hot- and cold-water outlets.
(b)
All required facilities in every dwelling unit and rooming house shall be connected to a source of potable water. The supply and pressure shall be sufficient at all times for the operation of all installed plumbing fixtures and equipment. Where water is not supplied from a public source, the source and system utilized shall be approved by the Superintendent of Public Works of the city.
