As part of the audit performed by the Auditor General of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State Auditor has recommended the Borough adopt, by ordinance, its Revised Restated Police Pension Plan Document, and the Borough Council wishes to address and comply with that recommendation.

The Burgess and Town Council of the Borough of Pottstown hereby adopt the Restated Plan Document for the Pottstown Police Pension Plan as written and assembled and embodied in the Plan Document 2015 Edition, a copy of which is incorporated herein by reference.[1]

All references to the Restated Plan Document as outlined in Part 7, Police Pension Plan, of Chapter 1, Administration and Government, as contained in the Code of Ordinances of the Borough of Pottstown, as amended, are hereby modified to refer to the Restated Plan Document adopted herein.
