It shall be unlawful to discharge, cast, throw or fire any type of squibs, rockets, chasers or other fireworks within the limits of the Borough.

It shall be unlawful to sell or expose for sale within the limits of the Borough any squibs, rockets, chasers or fireworks of any kind.

Upon petition to the Mayor of the Borough, it shall be within his discretion to grant a permit to exhibit public fireworks.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this Part 1 shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $300; and/or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 90 days. Every day that a violation of this Part 1 continues shall constitute a separate offense.

The penalties and restriction herein shall not extend to members of any fire company while engaged in their duties as firemen or while under the command of their officers during parade day.
