The Elected Tax Collector of the Borough of Burnham is hereby
appointed as delinquent tax collector pursuant to the Local Tax Collection
Law, specifically, per the Act of May 25, 1945, P.L. 1050, No. 394,
Section 26.1, added by the Act of December 20, 2000, P.L. 735, No.
104, Section 5, as amended (72 P.S. § 5511.26a, as amended).

The Elected Tax Collector as delinquent tax collector shall
collect delinquent taxes in accordance with and have the same powers,
rights, privileges, duties and obligations as are set forth in Section
686 (24 P.S. § 6-686) of the Act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.
30, No. 14), known as the "Public School Code of 1949."

The Elected Tax Collector, as delinquent tax collector, shall
specifically not have authority as a delinquent tax collector in relation
to taxes levied and assessed by the Borough of Burnham pursuant to
the Local Tax Enabling Act, Act of December 31, 1965, P.L. 1257, Section
1 et seq. (53 P.S. § 6901 et seq.) as such may be amended
from time to time.
