There is hereby created a Police Civil Service Commission in
accordance with the Act of General Assembly of 1931, P.L. 1206, its
supplements and amendments.

Hereafter each and every appointment to the Police Force of
the Township shall be made only according to qualification and fitness
to be ascertained by examination which shall be competitive as provided
for in the Act of Assembly referred to above.

The personnel of the Police Force shall be determined in accordance
with the Act hereinabove referred to.

Rules and regulations for carrying into effect the provisions
of the said Act shall be promulgated by the Civil Service Commission
and approved by the Township Commissioners.

All rules and regulations shall be posted at the police headquarters.
