As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
BUSINESS
Enterprises of all kinds, whether for profit, nonprofit, charitable or otherwise, and shall include but not be limited to manufacturing, fabricating, warehousing, selling and distributing goods, materials, equipment and supplies and rendering of services of every nature and kind whatsoever; provided, however, that it shall not include enterprises conducted by any organized church having a place of worship in the City which are intended to further its religious purpose or purposes and in addition it shall not include any enterprises of a casual or part-time nature conducted by minors.
PERSON
Any natural person, partnership, association, firm or corporation.
No person, either as principal, agent or otherwise, shall own, conduct or operate a business in the City of Farrell without first having registered said business with the City on a form furnished by the City.
Persons owning, conducting or operating a business in the City of Farrell at the time of the passage of this chapter shall have a period of 30 days after final enactment within which to register the business.
Persons who shall become owners, conductors or operators of a business in the City after the enactment of this chapter shall register the same within 30 days after the initial acquisition and/or commencement of the operation thereof.

A. 
Violations of this chapter shall constitute an offense punishable as hereinafter set forth.
B. 
Each day's continuance of a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall constitute a separate offense.
C. 
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000, plus costs, or to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 90 days, or both.
