A. 
There shall be a wastewater utility for the Township, which shall be controlled by the Hamilton Township governing body.
B. 
All revenue and accounting therefor by the Wastewater Utility shall be on a dedicated, utility basis pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:4-35. All moneys derived from the operation of the Wastewater Utility and any other moneys applicable to its support shall be segregated and kept in a separate fund, which shall be known as the "Wastewater Utility Fund." Disbursements for the operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Utility shall be taken from the fund.
C. 
Budgets shall provide appropriations for operating expenses, capital improvements, debt service for the payment of all sanitary sewer or wastewater treatment works bonds, principal and interest and all other deferred charges and statutory expenditures as may be required.
A. 
The original master plan for sewerage is the plan dated June 26, 1974, prepared by Betz Environmental Engineers.
B. 
The wastewater management plan is the plan updated in January 1995 and March 2013, a copy of which is on file with both the NJDEP and the Mercer County Planning Department. This plan is part of the Mercer County Wastewater Management Plan pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:15. The wastewater management plan defines the future service area of the Township's sanitary sewer system.
The Township may extend the sanitary sewer system of the Township if deemed necessary. All sewer extensions shall conform in every respect to the rules and regulations of the NJDEP. All sewer extensions for residential development shall further conform to N.J.A.C. 5:25-6. No sewage shall be permitted to discharge into the sanitary sewer system, and/or no permanent connection shall be made to the sanitary sewer system, until the extension is approved by the NJDEP and the line has been inspected and approved by the Township. The fee for the television inspection of the sanitary sewer line by the Township shall be $3 per linear foot subject to WPC equipment being available.
