The Town is hereby divided into voting districts for the purpose of voting for all Town officials and all officers and measures required to be voted for by ballot at elections and biennial town meetings.

In accordance with Chapter 146 of the Connecticut General Statutes, the number of Justices of the Peace to be selected in 1996, and quadrennially thereafter, shall be 30.

Pursuant to the provisions of Connecticut General Statutes, § 9-189a, the terms of the office for Registrars of Voters elected at the regular elections to be held in November of 1996, and thereafter, shall be for four years.
