[Adopted as Ch. 150, Art. I, of the 1994 Code of Ordinances]
The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
CIGARETTE VENDING MACHINE
Any automatic vending machine used for the sale of cigarettes and matches and controlled by the insertion of coins.
MERCHANDISE VENDING MACHINE
Any automatic vending machine used for the sale of merchandise, including food and food products, and controlled by the insertion of coins.
The owner of all cigarette vending machines and merchandise vending machines hereafter located within the Township shall post in a conspicuous place thereon the name and the address of the true owner thereof.
No person shall use or permit the use of any cigarette vending machine by any person under the age of 19 years.

All vending machines shall be equipped with a properly functioning mechanism by which all coins shall be automatically refunded if the machine is out of order or empty or, in the alternative, shall have a metal label permanently affixed to the machines notifying any persons who shall lose coins in an empty or malfunctioning machine of the name and address and telephone number of the person to whom they may apply for an appropriate refund.
