Permits for special events in park facilities shall be obtained by application to the Department Director in accordance with the following procedure:
A.
Application. A person seeking a permit hereunder shall file a letter of intended use with the Department Director; whose content may require such information as the Department Director shall find necessary to make a fair determination as to whether a permit may be issued. The letter's content will include (but is not limited to):
(1)
The name and address of the applicant, and person sponsoring the activity, if any.
(2)
The date, time, and duration for which the permit is desired.
(3)
The park facilities requested for the event, and an estimate of the anticipated attendance.
(4)
Proof of insurance, health certificate(s), sanitary facilities, ADA plan.
(5)
Need for supporting services such as police, EMS, utilities, etc.
B.
Standards for issuance. The Department Director shall issue a permit hereunder when it is determined that the facilities desired have not been reserved for other use at the day and hour requested in the application, and that the proposed activity (or use) will not:

Application. A person seeking to function as a vendor in connection with a special event, program or activity in Bridgeton City Park, Cohanzick Zoo, or other space within the park system shall make application with the Department Director and provide such information as the Department Director shall find necessary to make a fair determination as to whether a permit may be issued. The application shall contain, at a minimum, the following:

(1)
Name, address, and contact information of the vendor.
(2)
The special event, program, or activity at which the vendor seeks to function.
(3)
The type of vending that will occur (i.e., food, crafts, etc.).
(4)
Food vendors shall provide the Director with required approvals from the County Health Department.
(5)
All vendors shall meet the minimum liability insurance requirements.
(6)
The event, program, and activity at which vending will take place.
(7)
If vending at a location reserved by permit, written permission to vend from the permit holder is required.
