A.
The
Board of Aldermen for the City of Knob Noster, Missouri, does hereby
find and determine that a person, party or corporation desiring City
utility services shall pay to the City of Knob Noster, Missouri, a
deposit for each water meter connection. For apartment buildings,
car washes, laundromats, restaurants, motels and hotels and other
commercial or industrial businesses, the deposit shall be one hundred
dollars ($100.00). For each residential meter connection, the deposit
shall be seventy-five dollars ($75.00).
B.
Before
any connection is made an application must be filed and approved on
forms supplied by the City of Knob Noster and the required deposit
paid to the City. No waiver of deposits will be allowed for any reason.
C.
Whomever
filed the application for a water meter connection shall be responsible
for all payments relating to water usage for that connection.
D.
If
any customer receiving City services fails to pay his, her or their
billing for a period of twenty-five (25) days after the date of rendition
thereof, such customer shall not be permitted nor entitled to receive
those services and services shall be disconnected to such premises
until payment of past due amount(s) and reconnection fee of seventy-five
dollars ($75.00) is received by the City. All billings shall be paid
with no exceptions. There shall be no time extension for payment of
services.
E.
All
water deposits will be applied to any unpaid account and the difference
will either be refunded or billed to the customer.

The connection charge hereafter imposed upon applicants for
water service shall be:

When making new or modified service connections, the property
owner may request a single or multiple meter installation. The costs
to the property owner will be those established by ordinance and currently
in effect for water service connections.

The Missouri Primacy Fee, in the amount established by legislation
passed by the General Assembly, shall be added to the June water bill
for each active meter of the City of Knob Noster water system.
