A. The Mayor may, from time to time, declare
a Festival Animal District within the City of Washington, Missouri.
In establishing a Festival Animal District, the Mayor shall define
the boundaries of the Festival Animal District and shall further establish
the time period when such Festival Animal District shall commence
and when it shall terminate. Upon the establishment of a Festival
Animal District, it shall be unlawful to bring animals of any type,
with the exception of animals in a parade, livestock, service animals
(such as Seeing Eye dogs) or Police canine or horses, into any Festival
Animal District as declared by the Mayor. This includes pets on leashes
or other restraints.
B. The Mayor, may, from time to time, declare
a Festival Beverage District within the City of Washington, Missouri.
In establishing a Festival Beverage District, the Mayor shall define
the boundaries of the Festival Beverage District and shall further
establish the time period when such Festival Beverage District shall
commence and when it shall terminate. Upon the establishment of a
Festival Beverage District, it shall be unlawful to bring into the
Festival Beverage District, for consumption in public, any alcoholic
beverages which are not sold by providers holding proper liquor licenses
within the Festival Beverage District.
C. The boundaries of any Festival Animal District
and any Festival Beverage District may, but need not be, the same.
