Solid wastes, including demolition or construction wastes, shall
be deposited at a processing facility or disposal area approved by
the City and complying with all requirements of the State and the
rules and regulations thereunder.

The City may classify certain wastes, including demolition or
construction wastes, as hazardous wastes which will require special
handling and shall be disposed of only in a manner acceptable to the
City and which will meet all local, State and Federal regulations.

A. The
"yard waste disposal site" shall be that area designated by the City
Administrator.
B. For
the purpose of this Section, "yard waste" is hereby
defined as garden waste, leaves, lawn cuttings, weeds, pruning, shrubs
and tree waste generated at residential or commercial properties located
in the City limits of the City of Ste. Genevieve. It does not include
tree stumps or limbs over six (6) feet long or over twenty-four (24)
inches in diameter.
C. It
is hereby declared a violation to place any substance other than yard
waste into the City's yard waste disposal site.
