The Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Board of Aldermen,
may appoint an Administrative Assistant to assist the Mayor in the
performance of his/her duties. The Administrative Assistant shall
serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and may be removed by the Mayor
with the advice and consent of the Board of Aldermen. The Administrative
Assistant shall be a non-paid volunteer, but be reimbursed for reasonable
out-of-pocket expenses. The Administrative Assistant shall perform
such duties as directed by the Mayor, but shall not have the power
to bind the City.
