A. 
A certain document, one (1) copy of which has been on file in the office of the City Clerk of City of Oronogo for a period of ninety (90) days prior to the adoption of this Section, being marked and designated as the International Fire Code, 2018 Edition, including Appendix Chapters B, C, D, and I (see International Fire Code Section 101.2.1, 2018 Edition), as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Fire Code of the City of Oronogo, in the State of Missouri, regulating and governing the safeguarding of life and property from fire and explosion hazards arising from the storage, handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, and from conditions hazardous to life or property in the occupancy of buildings and premises as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Fire Code on file in the office of the City of Oronogo are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this legislation, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Subsection (B) of this Section.
B. 
The following sections are hereby revised:
Section 101.1. Insert: City of Oronogo
Section 109.4. Insert: Ordinance violation, five hundred dollars ($500.00), ninety (90) days
C. 
That the geographic limits referred to in certain sections of the 2018 International Fire Code are hereby established as follows:
Section 5704.2.9.6.1 Delete
Section 5706.2.4.4 Delete
Section 5806.2 Delete
Section 6104.2 Maximum capacity within established limits is one hundred (100) pounds
Any person who shall violate a provision of the Fire Code adopted herein or shall fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof or who shall erect, construct, alter or repair a building or structure in violation of an approved plan of or directive of the Code Official, or of a permit or certificate issued under the provision of this code, shall be guilty of an ordinance violation, punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day that a violation continues after due notice has been served shall be deemed a separate offense.
